Activity and variability of aminopeptidases and gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase of the cutaneous mucous membrane in the cow's rumen]
Authors:M Teleha  L Slesárová
Abstract:The authors studied the activity, chromatographic and electrophoretic distribution of leucylarylamidase, cystinamino peptidase, and gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase of the cytoplasmatic fraction of cow's rumen mucous membrane homogenate. The results of comparative analysis draw attention to the existence of a certain number of the molecular forms of the enzymes studied, to the activation of leucylarylamidase by Co2+, cystinamino peptidase by Co2+ and Ca2+. The possible functions of the amino peptidases and transpeptidase of glutamic acid in the metabolism of nitrogen compounds of the type of peptides, amino acids, and their amides, are discussed in the study.
