| Abstract: | The domestication and cultivation of a native grass, wild barley grass(Hordeum brevisubulaum), was carried out from 1986 to 1989. The results showed that its seed yield and germination, salt tolerance and competition with weeds were all greater than those of Aneurolepidium chinense, a major local cultivated speci-es. Its potential for development was discussed. |
