In the context of the great social and economic development and the national rural revitalization strategy, in order to better adapt to the development trend of smart animal husbandry, this article takes pig raising as an example to summarize its development process from the application of modern technology, describe its concept and key technologies, introduce the current smart pig raising model and its common intelligent management solutions, market sales and traceability system construction, etc. The purpose is to provide technical reference for the promotion and application of smart breeding, further improving the effi ciency and technological content of pig breeding then to improve the level of intelligent management and control, to improve animal welfare, to realize resource sharing, and to better promote the development of pig breeding towards the direction of modernization, high quality and, sustainable.
