中国野牦牛遗传资源的保存与利用

Conservation and Utilization of Genetic Resources of Wild Yak in China

Wild yak is rare wildlife resource on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.The paper was discussed the present situation of genetic resources from distribution,type,population quantity and main geograph- ical divisions of wild yak in China,also discussed the biological characteristic and economic worth of wild yak,and put forward the measures of conservation and utilization wild yak genetic resources,which has important meaning to promote ecological and social benefits of the high and cold pastoral area.
