| Abstract: | To genetically analyze porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome(PRRS) in Jiangsu province of China,we collected clinical samples from different pig farms in eight cities of Jiangsu province that suffering from the disease.The isolated PRRSV strains were identified with RT-PCR and IFA assay.The sequence comparison of partial Nsp2 indicated that the isolated PRRSV strains shared a common feature of a discontinuous deletion of 30 amino acids in nonstructural protein 2(Nsp2) region which was the position of 481 aa and 533-561 aa.And the isolates from different geographic locations were high homologous to each other and all of them belonged to North America type.Whole-genome of selected isolation PRRSV RD2007 were obtained and analyzed with other 24 PRRSV strains including 11 high pathogenic PRRSV.The results revealed that the PRRSV-RD-2007 isolate was highly homologous to JXA1,HUN4,HEB1,HUB1,SY0608,Chinese isolated strains of PRRSV.And 99.1% homology for every open reading fragment was observed when it was compared with JXA1.So we can conclude that the PRRSV RD2007 and the other domestic strains may have evolved from the same ancestor. |
