| Abstract: | To preliminary understand the infection of the porcine circovirus type 2(PCV-2) in Guangdong province,764 serum samples from 15 areas in Guangdong were detected for antibodies against PCV-2 by ELISA,meanwhile,co-infection was investigated among PCV-2,PRV,PRRSV.The results showed that average positive rate of antibodies against PCV-2 in 764 serum samples in different growth phases of pigs were 61.91%(473/764);positive rates of weaned piglets,replacement gilts,multiparous sows and boars were 59.52%(322/541),64.81%(35/54),67.29%(72/l07) and 70.97%(22/31),respectively.The above results demonstrated that the positive rates of co-inflection of PCV-2 with PRV and PRRSV were 14.71%(35/238),47.48%(113/238).The positive rate of the three mixed infections was 8.82%(21/238).This study showed that PCV-2 infection is widespread in Guangdong province. |
