| Abstract: | Haemophilus parasuis(HPS) is a common bacterium in the upper respiratory duct of pigs.It's the etiological agent of Glaser's disease which is characterized by fibrinous polyserositis,polyarthritis and meningitis,and causes significant financial losses on swine industry.For a more comprehensive understanding of the pathogen,the aetiology,epidemiology,pathogenesis,clinical symptoms and pathological lesions,diagnosis and control measures of the disease were reviewed in this article. |
