甘肃省饲草资源丰富,区域性产业带动成效显著,资金投入量大、面广,品种改良规划成效突显,从而使牛产业在起步晚的情况下迅速发展,但目前还存在种公牛站建设和改制滞后,养牛产业的比较效益不高,散养母牛逐步解体,技术队伍不稳定,兽医服务不能满足实际需要的问题,建议应充分发挥和利用政策资源优势,创新和推动多元化养牛发展模式,加快信息化服务网络建设,加大宣传,正确引导杂交改良的优势,建立以政府为主,多元化、市场化的融资体系,扶持创办动物医院的服务机构建设。
