Bos frontalis have the characters of tall physique, good performance of producing meat, quick action, com- pact structure, muscular, good meat quality, crude feed resistance, good reproductivity, flavor, adaptabil- ity and disease resistance, and so on. Bos frontalis population are very small. Bos frontalis is a local breed in yunnan province, so the protection and breeding work is urgent to be paid more attention and strength-ened.
