Effect of Pineapple Bran on Milk Yield of Dairy Cows

【Objective】This experiment was conducted to observe the effect of diet with pineapple bran on milk yield of milking cows.【Method】30 healthy Holsten Friesian milking cows were divided into two groups,the control and treatment（group）,each had 15 cows.The daily milk yield and other performances were recorded during the 37d of experimental period.【Result】The results showed that the average daily milk yield was 16.49 kg from the treatment group,which was 0.61 kg higher than that of 15.88kg from control group and could get 1.496 RMY profit.【Conclusion】It still seemed to be possible to use pineapple bran in diet for dairy cow effectively even though no much difference was found from the milk yield of two groups in this trial.We just needed to do more research on it.
