| Abstract: | Fat content has an important role on the health of human and animals and the meat quality of animals.Fatty acid transport protein 1(FATP1) is an integral membrane protein.As one member of the family of the fatty acid transport proteins,FATP1 is involved in the transport of long chain fatty acids across the plasma membrane and the metabolism of fatty acids.It is one of the key genes which have an influence on fat content and has Abstracted more and more attentions in recent years.In this paper,structural features and tissue distribution,gene expression and regulation and genetic variation of the gene FATP1 have been summarized for better research in the future. |
