摘    要:通过将自然条件下的同龄滞育蛹周期性地转至不同恒温下的试验测定,表明了温度对黑纹粉蝶蛹滞育的维持和终止有重要作用。在越夏期间,高温维持了越夏的滞育;在越冬期间,冬季低温能促进滞育的发育,加速滞育的终止。结果还表明,在较高温度和较低温度的条件下,越冬和越复的滞育均能够终止,但在较高温度下,滞育的发育需要更长时间;在较低温度下,滞育发育的时间缩短。由此推断,该虫滞育发育的最适温度较低。最后,讨论了该虫滞育发育的温度机制在其生活史中的作用。

Abstract:The effects of temperature on diapause maintenance and termination were tested in Pieris melete by collecting naturaily diapause pupae at regular intervals to various constant temperatures. The resultsindicated that temperature played a very important role in maitaining and terminating hibernal and aestival diapause.theh temperatures maintained aestival diapause during summer, and low temperatures enhanced.hibernai diapause development and hastened diapause termination during winter. The results aiso showed that diapause could be terminated both under high and low temperature conditions. However it took a longerPeriod to finish diapause development under high temperature conditions, a shorter period under low temperature conditions. Thus, it was concluded that the optimum diapause development temperature was lower in this species. Finally the role of the temperature mechanism for diapause development in life history in the species was discussed.
