N-arylamidines and N-arylimidates of substituted acetic acids and their insecticidal and acaricidal properties

The synthesis of N-arylamidines and N-arylimidates of substituted acetic acids is described. Those amidines and imidates possessing a phosphorus ester as substituent showed insecticidal and high acaricidal properties. By contrast, their precursors were ineffective.
