甘肃省定西地区水土资源特征及其合理利用

定西地区90％以上是坡耕地,高寒干旱,多灾低产,经济发展缓慢。应采取以下措施发展本区经济。①充分利用水资源,发展川原区农田灌溉,提高土地生产潜力,解决干旱区腹地人畜饮水。②改坡耕地为梯田,蓄肥保土,增加作物产量。③种草养畜,以牧促农。④调整农业结构,农林牧分区分带同时发展。⑤开展小流域综合治理,控制水土流失。

The CharacteristicS of the Water-soil Resources and Its Rational Uitilization in Dingxi Prefectural Area

The slope-arable land in Dingxi prefecture make up 90 percent, where theclimate is cold, montane and arid, with more natural calamities, lower yieldand slow economic development. Developing the economy of this area shouldadopt a series of measures es follows: 1. To fully utilize the water resources, develop the irrigation farming,raise the productive potentialities of land and resolve the potable water forboth people and animal in the arid hinterland. 2. To turn slope-arable land into terrace, store manure and pursue soil con-servation and increase crop yields. 3. To plant grass for stock raising and promote the farming by the ani-mal husbandry. 4. To regulate the agricultural structure and simultaneously develop thefarming, forestry and animal husbandry by means of division and belting. 5. To develop the harnessing of small river basins and control soil erosi-ons.
