Abstract:We assessed the status of the Songnen plain's groundwater resources by using the hydro-meteorological data of the recent 50 years,on the basis lots of measured data by exploration and field survey.According to the research we found that the groundwater resources present a decreasing trend from the 1980s due to the changes in climate and hydrological conditions,and human exploitation.The groundwater recharge in the region in 2005 had reduced 14.06×108m3 compared with 1984,and 8.81×108m3 compared with 1994.Exploitation of resources in the region in 2005 had reduced 18.99×108m3 compared with 1984,and 7.5×108m3 compared with 1994.It is the Key for controlling groundwater level by exploiting groundwater resource reasonable,preventing the groundwater resource depletion and ecology environment worsen by overly exploiting.
