Design and development of a database system for marine fisheries resource study in East China Sea region

On the basis of statistical data on marine fisheries catches, fishing effort and fish biological parameters, and of the titles of fisheries research papers and reports collected and processed, a database system was developed. The functions of stock assessment, yield forecast, relationship analysis and discriminate analysis were approached by Basic program and through Foxpro program and API link, the functions of data input, data modification and deletion, query, data analysis and output were realized.
