巨藻潜筏式养殖技术的研究

Abstract:Submerged floating-raft culture method was conducted in order to meet the growth of giant kelp and its production on a large scale. The experiment included(a). comparing horizontal method with hanging method;(b). effect of culture density on the yield;(c). effect of the time for transplanting plants from the sporeling cords to the culture ropes on the yield;(d). effect of inner and outer culture water area on the growth of giant kelp. The results are as follows. Horizontal submerging culture methed is superior to hanging submerging culture method, the former could keep giant kelp growing at the optitum water layer and its yield is twice as high as the latter. 22 plants per 2m rope showed the best density in suitable density groups of 15,22,30 plants, 170 tons of fresh giant kelp could be produced per hectare at the group of 22 plants. There was a obvious difference between early and late transplanting plants. Giant kelp likes growing in the suitable swift water current which could compensate the lack of nutrient salts for the plant's growth in some water areas.
