| Abstract: | The article reports important diseases and different farming techniques of nutria. E. coli and salmonella infections are the most important bacterial diseases. Coccidiosis and strongyloidosis are frequently observed in nutria farms. Differentiated prophylactic treatment and hygiene are necessary for optimal breeding conditions. |
