Studies on the skull of Squaliobarbus curroclus (Richardson) |

| Abstract: | The present paper deals with the investigation of the skull of Squaliobarbus curriculus, a common
fish of Leuciscinae in China. It has been observed that supraorbital cantact with 5th infraorbital closely. To distiguish
the Leuciscinae from Denioninae the one of two main feathers is the separation of two above-mentioned bones on the
skull. There is a need for the approaching to the phylogenetic position of Squaliobarbus curriculus. |
