| Abstract: | The biological characters of Cottus sibiricus altaicus Li et Ho in the tributary of Ertixhe River were analyzed based on the survey conducted from April 2007 to September 2008.It is showed that the relationship of body length and body weight could be described as W=1×10-5L3.0745.The minimum body length and body weight of female C.sibiricus altaicus at maturity were 61.0 mm and 5.80 g,respectively.The maturity coefficient of C.sibiricus altaicus was 18.05～43.55 and the average value was 31.27±7.01 on the basis of the data of 11 mature female individuals.The individual absolute fecundity(F) was between 89 and 294 eggs and the average value was(194±74)eggs.The individual relative fecundity(FL) ranged from 14.32 to 40.29 eggs/mm with a mean of(29.01±9.03)eggs/mm and individual relative fecundity(FW) was from 21.66 to 48.04 eggs/g and the average value was(36.99±8.22)eggs/g.C.sibiricus altaicus was a total spawner according to the frequency distribution of ovum diameter. |
