Abstract:Sediment of shrimp ponds in Hainan province was taken as material and a halophilic strain was obtained through enrichment and isolation,named HPSB2.The result of morphological,characteristic absorption peak and physiobiochemical showed that strain HPSB2 was a member of the genus Thauera in th family of Rhodocyaceae.Strain HPSB2 had the 99.0% similarity with Thauera aminoaromatica and Thauera mechemichensis using 16SrDNA sequence alignment.The optimal culture condition of the strain were 40 ℃,pH 6.5,15‰,above 3000 lx.It could grow normally at 45 ℃,pH 9.5,and resist 70‰ of salt.
