| Abstract: | A new metbod for detecting the track of a walking vehicle by using computer image pro-cessing techniques was developed.A guide datum line was put on the ground and somemarks along the guide datum line were set up with a proper spacing.A CCD(Charge-Cou-pled Device) camera fixed on the vehicle was employed to shoot the set marks and the tracksof the walking vehicle can be obtained by using image processing techniques. The results of error-analysis and experiments show that this method saves time andlabour,is high in precision and easy to operate and has great value in practical application. |
