| Abstract: | The global agriculture is facing great challenge of the reduction of water resource.Rice is the most important food crop in China,the development of water -saving techniques for rice is imperative.Based on analysis of water resources uti-lization of the world,China and Hunan province,the research progresses on main water -saving cultivation techniques for rice in home and abroad,such as breeding of drought -resistance rice varieties,water -saving irrigation techniques for rice,non -flooded film mulching cultivation technique,tillage techniques,and so on,were summarized,and then the re-search directions of water -saving cultivation techniques for rice were prospected. |
