Abstract: In order to promote industrial integration, realize processing value-added, accelerate technology research and development, achieve cross season sales, promote cold chain development and increase labor employment, the research on shepherd''s purse industrialization was summarized. Here, it was necessary to introduce the value, research significance and research status of shepherd''s purse. It was found that shepherd''s purse was a kind of wild leafy vegetable with high nutritional value and medicinal value, which was favored by consumers, had a broad market prospect and important research significance. In addition, there were many researches related to shepherd''s purse, but they were mainly focused on cultivation, less cultivars and processing, especially production industrialization was even less involved. Key technologies and equipment of shepherd''s purse industry would be researched and developed, which would help to extend the industrial chain and accelerate the application of new cultivars, technologies, modes, processes and equipments.
