The analysis results of apple production,consumption,and trade in China since 2000 were as follows.The distribution of apple production areas in China was relatively stable,and the production was highly concentrated in the dominant areas of apple production.Apple productivity had greatly increased,which had continuously met the consumption demand of urban and rural residents for apples.The gap between urban and rural areas had been narrowing,and the trade surplus of apple products has further increased.However,the profit rate of apple production had declined significantly,and consumers had put forward higher requirements for apple′s quality and nutrition.Apple production faced challenges in terms of cost and quality.At the same time,technical services,agricultural insurance,and other socialized services in apple production had also made initial progress.In the future,apple production will be further developed to be efficient,high-quality,and socialized.
