Abstract:Effects of heat treatment on disinfesting fruits,reducing the chilling injury of some fruits and vegetables and improving their postharvest quality are reviewed.As a non chemical treatment method for postharvest handling of fruits and vegetables,prestorage heat treatment technology has great theoretical value and application potential.
