Forest Certification's Promotion for Development of World's Private Forest and China's Non-Public Forest

Most of the forests in the world are private.With the development of the forestland tenure reform and the support of national forestry policy,non-public forests have been increasing very quickly in China.Forest certification has played an important role in promoting the development and sustainable management of private forests in the world and non-public forests in China.The status,types and roles of the certification of world's private forest and China's non-public forest were analyzed,and opinions and suggestions on how to promote non-pubic forest's certification in China were made.
