Worry about Repitition of the Same German Historical Lessons in China A Discussion on the Factors Restricting the Development of Sustainable Forestry

Germany is a pioneer in forestry and provides useful experiences for forest development in the world.But since the beginning of 18th century large scale pure evenaged coniferous plantations were successively established in Germany,resulting in the unbalanced structure of forest ecology and the failure of ecological functions.Now in China the area of pure coniferous plantations is 2/3 of the total forest area.In some provinces the proportional area is 95%,with one plantation constructed after another.Ill consequence has begun to manifest itself.Considering over these problems,the author proposes some solutions.
