高光谱遥感森林应用研究探讨*

摘    要:详细论述了高光谱遥感技术在森林生物物理和化学参量估计以及森林健康状态遥感评价等方面的应用研究状况,对高光谱遥感植被应用的数据处理技术作了简要说明。对我国高光谱遥感森林应用研究现状和发展水平进行了阐述,最后对高光谱遥感森林应用的未来趋势作了探讨。

Abstract:Hyperspectral remote sensing became one of the most important leading research fields of remote sensing in 1990s. Different from traditional remote sensing, hyperstectral data has very high spectral resolution. Much smaller spectral difference of objects can be detected by hyperspectral image. This is especially important for vegetation recognition because the spectral characteristics of difference plants is similar and difficult to be classified. So hyperspectral remote sensing is a powerful tool for forestry applications and has being utilized in many forest areas, for example, forest planning & management, forest mapping, forest inventory, forest area monitoring etc. The paper presents a summary on the feasibility, operational applications and possible strategies of hyperspectral remote sensing in forestry. It describes in detail the status of detecting forest biophysical and biochemical parameters from hyperspectral data, and the status of monitoring and evaluating forest health by using hyperspectral sensor. The paper also give a briefly review of the processing and analysis technique for hyperspectral data. Finally it discusses the status of the application of hyperspectral remote sensing for forest in China.
