| Abstract: | The current advances in vegetative propagation of trees in the world were summarized from the aspect of techniques of vegetative propagation, including cuttage, grafting and tissue culture, and so on. The physiological fundamentals and application of tree asexual propagation, such as application in clonal forestry, disting uishing variety, genetic engineering, were discussed. The problems and prospects for developing forestry vegetative propagation were put forward. |
