| Abstract: | The applications of winch in different kinds of engineering cable ways were expounded. Several types of winch suitable for plantation skidding were selected by method of value engineering analysis. The developing prospect of no_support construction winch applied in forestry, highway and bridge, water and electricity engineering was predicted. |
