竹秆锈病防治方法的研究

竹秆锈病(Stereostratum cotticioides(Berk et Br.)Magnus)又称竹褥病。该病的发生具有许多特殊性,导致病害防治的烦难性。经不同方法,不同药物,对病害的各个防治目标进行反复防治试验证明,防治方法建议在生产上能应用的有以下二种: (1)用煤油或清漆涂抹冬孢子堆法。此法能持续抑制病部夏孢子的产生,具有较好的防治效果。又简便易行。优于药物药械喷雾法。但同药物药械喷雾法一样,存在着病害当年防治,翌年病部立即复发的不彻底性。 (2)用刀刮除冬孢子堆及其周围健组织法:此法简便易行。更优于用煤油或清漆涂抹冬孢子堆法和药物药械喷雾法。可以免除病害复发的不彻底性。具有很好的防治效果。

STUDY ON THE PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF BAMBOO-CULM RUST

Bamboo-culm rust is also termed bamboo-mattress disease. It occurs with many special characteristics, which make the control of it difficult and complicated. Repeated experiments on controlling each object of the disease using different drugs and by various means indicate that the follo- wing-mentioned two methods are workable. (1) Smear the telia with kerosens or varnish. This method can continuously prevent the emergence of summer-spots on the infected parts of culms. It is provd to be effective, easy to practise and superior to spraying drugs by certain appliances. But, like the spray, it is not thorough, as the rust can recur the next year on the treated parts. (2) Scratch the telia as well as the healthy tissue around. This method is simple and convenient to perform. It can elimilate the disease, so is better than both the smearring and spray mentioned above.
