On Examining and Probing the History of the Chinese Bamboo Paper

The writer, after examining and probing the origin and history of the ancient Chinese bamboo paper, believes that the Chinese bamboo paper originated from Jin Dynasty. The bamboo paper profession developed greatly during Tang and Song Dynasties, much more greatly in Ming Dynasty and at its best in Qing Dynasty. During the time, the Bamboo paper was produced in provinces and areas of South China and the bamboo paper profession has remained flourishing in the same places up to now. And also, the writer probes the process and techniques of the production of the ancient bamboo paper, and bamboo paper exerted a great influence upon the ancient social economy and culture.
