南方型速生杨树的大量种植和加工利用,使江苏已成为人造板生产大省.江苏杨树产业的进一步的发展必须进行市场、原料、产品、技术和管理等诸方面的创新,采取全球经济一体化的对策,要研究以杨木种植和加工业为核心、循环经济的小城镇建设的新模式.

Status and Development of the Southern Type Poplar Processing Industry in Jiangsu Province

Southern type Poplar is one of the dominant forest plantation species in Jiangsu Province,and the Poplar industry has made Jiangsu become one of the biggest producers of wood based panels in China.This paper reviewed the history and current condition of Poplar cultivation and utilization in Jiangsu Province.To build a sustainable industry,the authors suggested that the Poplar industry should stimulate the development of future markets, management of raw materials,R & D for production,and promote innovation on technology and business management.They also suggested that the construction of small towns in the northern area of Jiangsu Province should focus on Poplar cultivating and utilization to speed up the development of this new rural area.
