| Abstract: | Based on the understanding of structure characteristic of main type of condensed tannins,the mechanism of reaction between the tannin and aldehyde is dicussed.The problems of tannin used as wood ad- hesive and the solutions to them are introduced.The progress in application of tannin-based wood adhesive is reviewed. |
