华南园林绿化乡土树种探讨(一)

初步统计,在华南园林绿化中已见应用的乡土树种有维管植物65科210种(含20变种);具有潜在应用前景的乡土树种82科282种(含4变种),共计104科492种(含24变种)。文章阐明了乡土树种的概念及其在园林中应用的意义;华南乡土树种的特点和树种选择原则;简述了这些树种的名称、特性、分布和花果期;还叙述了乡土树种研究利用的概况和存在问题,并提出讨论和建议。该文为华南园林绿化乡土树种的选择应用和深入研究提供基本资料,具有现实意义。

Native Trees Used for Landscape Planting in South China

According to the census, a total of 210 species (including varieties 20) of 65 families of native vascular plants can be used for landscape planting in South China. Other 82 tree species (including varieties 4) of 82 families have potential to be applied, a total of 492 species (including varieties 24) and 104 families. In this paper, the definition, the significance and the general characteristics of native trees in South China were given. The Chinese and scientific names, key morphological characteristics, distributions, flowers and fruit periods were described. The application status and major problems of native trees in South China were discussed, and some suggestions were put forward. It is useful information for the selection and application of native trees in landscape planting of South China.
