| Abstract: | To meet the actual demand of building ＂green Jiangsu＂ and the assessment index of forest coverage rate in building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way,in the unit of municipality,we investigated on forest fixed plots through dense located along a grid of 4 km×1 km.By permanent sample plots investigation as the main,with the meta-synthesis of the new technologies,including GPS used to locate and navigate to field plots,GIS used to extract plots data,locate plots precisely and map,RS used to interpret remote sensing image,and database used to check logic,process data,count and sum,it can realize real-time and effective monitoring for the Jiangsu provincial and municipal forest resources（especially forest coverage rate）. |
