| Abstract: | Indigenous tree species, economic forest species and landscape plants should be taken into consideration when selecting species for vegetation restoration in hilly downland of Yangzhou. As a result, Populus canadensis and other 8 preparatory tree species are selected as major species for forest vegetation regeneration in hilly downland of Yangzhou. |
