BASTA RESISTANCE ASSAYING
FOR THE PROGENY OF RICE TRANSFORMED WITH Ds TRANSPOSON |

| Abstract: | We have developed a method of resistance assaying for the progenyof transgenic plants in rice. By regulation of technical operation on seed germination, seeds were treated with Basta at different concentrations as the buds had just showed. The results show that the best concentrations of Basta are 340～450 mg·L-1 and the best treatment time was 48h. Based on the comparison of resistance assaying methods, the present method is simple, efficient and practical for testing massive progenies of transgenic plants in rice. |
