摘    要:木薯是全球三大块根类作物之一,近年来被认为是热带地区重要的生物能源候选作物。木薯块根淀粉含量在28%~35%。生产上木薯大多数种植于瘠薄的土地上,缺乏管理,产量潜力不能够充分发挥,通过分子育种等手段提高品种淀粉生产能力和抗逆性,改良品质,提高木薯的综合利用价值,是木薯产业发展的挑战性课题。

Abstract:Cassava ( Manihot esculenta Crantz) is the sixth important food crop in the world and the principal bioenergy resources in China. Cassava enriches of starch with 28 -35% in the storage root and characteristic with stronger tolerance to drought and barren soil conditions. But normally the yielding potential of varieity can not be reached because it usually be planted in bad soil and there less practical management in the field. How to increase the starch yield, tolerance to abiotic stress, and modified the root quanlity by molecular breeding ways will be the key hot spot in cassava research.
