Analyses and prospects on development of wheat production in Henan Province

From the point of view of macroscopic strategic thinking,systematical analyses were carried out on the relationship between constraints such as policy,science and technology and investment ,and development of wheat production in Henan Province.It was pointed out that changes of both the wheat yield per unit area of land and the total wheat yield resulted from those factors during all the seven developmental phases of wheat production in Henan,especially from the development of science and technology.And it was further proved that development of science and technology was the basis of agricultural production development.The developmental prospects were discussed of wheat production in Henan and important ideas were put forward to develop wheat production,which provided scientific bases for decision-making and development of wheat production in Henan Province.
