| 摘 要： | 由于东西方人思维方式的差异,表现在语言上,英汉两种语言的表达方式有很大差别。汉语句子重意合,英语句子重形合;汉语句子主题显著,英语句子主语显著;汉语句子多用主动语态,英语句子多用被动语态。翻译时应把握其思维方式和语言特点。

| Abstract: | Due to different ways of thinking between the eatern people and westerners, English and Chinese languages differed from each other in ways of their expressions which are mainly charaterized by first that the Chinese sentencs are parataxisly structured while English sentences are hypotaxisly structured; second, Chinese sentences are topic-prominent while English sentences are subject-prominent and third, Chinese sentences often use active voices and English sentences often use passive voice. Thus diffent ways of thinking and language features should be taken into account in translation. |
