| Abstract: | Organic manures play an important role in improvement of soil fertility,increase of crop yield and quality.Agricultural use of organic wastes can not only effectively depose of organic resources and realize nutrient cycling,but also has an important role in environmental protection and sustainable agriculture.However,components of organic wastes are complicated and several toxic substances such as heavy metals and organic pollutants may pose great potential risk in contamination of agricultural products and soil environment when they are applied.Thus,it is important and necessary to limit the content of such the pollutants.This paper reviewed some of standards of limitation of heavy metals in organic compost,sewage sludge and commercial organic fertilizers worldwide,which will provide references for establishment of standards of organic wastes applied in agriculture. |
