Teaching and research of agricultural testing technique based on Virtual Instrument

The virtual instrumentation （ VI ） technique is becoming an increasing application in agricultural teaching and research because theVI has better characteristics than the traditional instrumentation. VI is a new kind of system based on computer technology. It can carry out testing, transfer data and analyze tasks. It also interlinks internet and other equipments to achieve communication. It is widely used because it can carry out all functions by software and its simple hardware structure. In this paper, the concept, structure, characteristic were summarized, and VI applications in agriculture teaching and research.
