Abstract: | The results of this study indicate that high temperature in short time(10 min),above 35℃ can obviously reduce the pollen viability of hot pepper,the five widely used plant growth regulating materials,such as 2,4-D,greatly inhibit the pollen viability.When the flowers of hot pepper are exposed to the high temperature,the thermal death point of the pollen is 54℃.When the pollens are directly exposed to the high temperature,the thermal death point of the pollens is 43℃. |
