Abstract:SSR markers were used to analyze DNA fingerprinting of Baimian 3,Baimian 018 hybrids and their parents with background materials including 33 cotton inbred varieties and 1 hybrid variety,which were once planted or were still being planted in different ecological cotton zones.20 SSR core primers belonged to 15 chromosomes and 116 alleles were detected by them.The average alleles and polymorphic information content of 20 SSR primers were 5.8 and 0.723,respectively.NAU2627,NAU1255,NAU1043,NAU1085 were codominant markers between Baimian 3 parents,and NAU1028,NAU2092,NAU3337,NAU4024,NAU1043,NAU3110 were codominant markers between Baimian 018 parents.Primer combinations NAU1028/NAU1085,NAU1028/NAU1043/NAU5262,DPL0209/NAU2869,NAU1028/NAU5104,NAU2121/NAU3703 and NAU2092/NAU2869 could be used to identify Baimian 3 female parent,Baimian 3 male parent,Baimian 3,Baimian 018 female parent,Baimian 018 male parent,Baimian 018,respectively.The fingerprinting of both codominant molecular markers and primer combinations of 2 hybrids provided the molecular basis for their truth appraisal and purity examination.
