Abstract:Longchun 28 was a new spring wheat variety bred systematically by crossing with the parental combination of self-bred line 9807-2-14/ CM7033//CM7015,which come from CIMMYT.The average yield of Longchun 28 was 5 205.2 kg/hm2 and 6.51% higher than of the check Longchun 23 in spring wheat regional test during the period 2009-2010 in eastern waterland of Gansu provice.In addition,the plant height is 75~80 cm,ear length is 8.5~9.2 cm,1000-grain weight is 42.8~46.6 g,bulk weight is 754~795 g/L,growing period is 92~105 d.The results showed that seed crude protein,wet gluten,sedimentation value,developing and stability time were 13.06%,29.0%,38.2 mL,3.3 min and 3.6 min.By inoculating identification,the results also showed that longchun 28 was resistance to Shui 4,Shui 7,HY 8 and moderate-resistance to CY 32,CY 33 and mixture race at the adult stage.It is suitable to plant in middle Gansu irrigation areas along the Yellow River of Central Gansu,cold and humid region,Semi-arid region and ecological conditions similar areas.
