Notes on Single Machine Scheduling Subject to Stochastic Breakdowns |

| Abstract: | This paper addresses three problems of scheduling jobs on a machine subject tO stochastic breakdowns.The first one is whether all the jobs tO be processed can be completed in probability 1.The second one is an im-provement on a proof of a theorem with stochastic order.The third one is the existence of the optimal solution of the problem with quadratic early-tardy penalties and randomly compressible processing times. |
