Research Progress of Analysis of Sugars in Tobacco

Sugar is considered one of critical components in tobacco.Multiple products of a series of complicated chemical reactions during the burning process of cigarettes,affect the sensory quality directly or indirectly.In order to deeply explore the studying on sugars in tobacco,a review was conducted,thus to provide references for similar studies,from the following aspects:influence of sugars on quality and sensory quality of tobacco,application of sugars in cigarettes production and analytical methods of sugars in tobacco.
