Abstract This article made a systematic exposition of challenges and opportunities that knowledge economy meets,the relationships between konwledge economy and agricultural science and technique revolution,deepening the reformation of science and technique systems and promotion of new revolution in agricultural sciences and techniques,construction of national inventive powers of agro-sciences and speeding up the accomplishment of four modernizations.
